The project has been developed in a multidisciplinary team for a period of two years at Alta Scuola Politecnica – an academic institution founded by Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino for their most distinguished students. The aim of the brief asks from a team of 15 students to create a concept for a scientific complex with a museum named Orbita in the city of Merate, Italy, in close proximity to the Milan Observatory. The task requires a multidisciplinary approach including research, architecture project development, exhibition plan for the spaces, integration of engineering and product design solution, design of a business plan as well as branding and advertisement materials.
